About me

I live and work in Corvarola, a small hamlet in Tuscany. After graduating high school, I studied advertising graphics at IED in Milan. Various experiences of work and life brought me in Lunigiana where now I run a small farm, Cà del Sasso.
My works belong to the world surrounding me and I use everyday experiences as a starting point. Often these are extrapolated fragments from my daily life that would go unnoticed in their original context. Through aesthetics and the searching of beauty, in my projects I try to lead the observer to ask himself questions, into a world of ongoing equilibrium between what articulates the stream of daily events and what could be different. Moments are depicted that exist to punctuate the meaning of life in order to clarify our existence and to find poetic meaning in everyday life.
I establish a link between the reality and that imagined by me. These works focus on concrete questions that determine our existence. By exploring the concept of landscape or human being in a nostalgic way I tries to approach in a multi-layered subject to involve the viewer in a way that is sometimes physical and believes in the idea of “educational” function that is the triggering reason of a project.
